Hurry up and wait! My current state of employment
The good news is I very much have a job, the bad news is that the place keeps getting delayed and I’m getting nuts as we have officially run out of money. There are a few problems getting the final approvals for the restaurant equipment, so until then I don’t start actually working/making money.
Of course, knowing me as so many of you do, when I have time I have paranoia, they did just give me my hat and 2 sets of chef uniform at their cost, so I assume they still want me; however, I haven’t heard from them in 2 days and I haven’t heard anything. I’ll call tomorrow if they don’t get back to me I’ll call. I’m being neurotic I know, it’s just that I don’t want to nag my overworked owner/manager but I’m terrified of missing work and getting fired before I start.
So there you have it, the state of employment limbo that I’m currently trapped in.

I go in at 9am to unload the truck tomorrow. I just threw together tomorrow’s dinner ( a shrimp & farfalle casserole with lorratne cheese & a sweet pea & pesto sauce) since i don’t know when I’ll be home. A day’s work at least but it won’t make up the $300 or so it looks like we are on bills… Make a dent at least though.
